Rear Garden: T1: Mature Oak: Approximately 12.00m. Remove weak epicormic growth throughout the crown in order to promote healthy open crown structure and maintain light levels to the beds below. Remove major dead wood throughout crown. T2: Mature Bay - (lefthand boundary): Approximately 6.00m. Reduce crown by approximately 1.20-1.50m to help shape and lift. Reason/s: General maintenance. Front Garden: G1: Righthand Mixed Species Hedge Line: Approximately 7.00m, consisting primarily of Bay, Evergreen Oak, Laurel, Holly & Ivy. Reduce the western section of the hedge nearest the building by approximately 1.70m in height. Reduce back to clear building by approximately 1.25m. Reduce lateral and sublateral growth by up to approximately 1.50m to form a more compact specimen whilst maintaining the tree as part of the general hedge line. A large Laurel (approximately 7.00m) adjacent to the Bay tree: Reduce by up to approximately 1.50m grading in height line with the Bay and remaining hedge. Reduce lateral and sub-lateral growth by approximately 1.30-1.50m to control encroachment. Holly, Evergreen Oak and remaining trees in the hedge line (excluding mature Yew) adjacent to the entrance: Reduce lateral and sub-lateral growth which overhangs the drive by approximately 1.30m to control encroachment. The natural height of the hedge is to be retained in its current form. Reason/s: General maintenance unless otherwise specified. T3: Yew: Approximately 9.00m. Remove 1 x dead, hanging branch. Remove major dead wood over the pavement. Reason: General maintenance. G2: Mixed Species Hedge Line: Approximately 8.00m. Located south of the drive, consisting of Evergreen Oak, Prunus & Ash: Reduce lateral and sub-lateral growth which overhangs the drive by approximately 1.20-1.50m to control encroachment but preserve ample screen. Remove Ivy where advancing into the higher crown structures back to the main stems. Reason: General maintenance. G3: Group to the front of the drive, adjacent to the pavement, consisting of several shrubs and two trees: Remove Ivy from the upper crown structures of the Acer and Ash back to the height of the shrub line. Remove dead wood throughout crowns. Reduce lateral and sub-lateral growth over the lawn and pavement by up to 1.50m to control encroachment and help reduce hazard potential. T4: Mature Dead Elm: Approximately 7.00m. This tree has been dead for some years. Approximately 2.00m of the main stem is still sound. Reduce to a height of approximately 2.20m and retain main stem as standing dead wood. Reason/s: General maintenance and to reduce hazard potential.
