Tree removal to prevent further subsidence 1 No Willow 1 No Silver Birch Notes from recent tree survey: "We have seasonal subsidence with the property that is going through the building insurer. On their survey they noted the two trees at the rear and have put into their advice and management plan that these should be removed, as they may be contributing / exacerbating the issue with the subsidence."

About trees applications

How this application type works

Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.

There is a tree in the back garden I believe it’s a type of maple T1 , but not 100%. Its overdue a reduction. I've suggested around 2m off the top and match the sides to create a compound shape. It’s blocking out a lot of light to the end of the garden and is quite close to the buildings at the back.
