One tree (tree 1 in sketch) is a 6m loquat tree. We wish to crown thin by 10% and remove the lowest hanging branches. Please see sketch which marks the crown reduction and branch uplift in red. We'd like to remove the lowest branches as it is below standard head height which limits usage of the garden. We would like to thin for general maintenance and allow more light into the garden. The 6m height will be maintained. The tree is located in the rear garden as identified on the sketch provided. We also wish to completely remove a bay tree (tree 2 in sketch) in the front garden on the border with 4 Cumberton Road (who has also agreed to the removal). The tree is invasive and will cause subsistence to the house, as it is growing into the houses. Additionally, it blocks light to the houses. This will be replaced in the same location with a privet hedge to bring it in line with the conservation area requirements. The intention is for this to grow to a height in line with the other hedges on the front of the properties.
