Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Multiple mature trees located across the New River Village estate (within the Conservation Area), primarily adjacent to estate roads, footpaths and lighting columns. Proposed works comprise selective pruning and crown lifting only, limited to the removal of secondary and tertiary branches that are obstructing street and footpath lighting. No felling is proposed. No reduction to primary structure. Works are intended solely to improve light penetration, visibility and safety at ground level, and to maintain the trees in a healthy condition. The trees are shown approximately on the submitted annotated plan.
