Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Large Blossom tree 2 metres from the house needs to be cut back. A tree surgeon assessment of roots is also required as they have encroached on waste pipes. Permission sought as house and tree are in a conservation area. Tree is not under a TPO. Whole crown reduction will be completed by a registered tree surgeon to provide sufficient clearance to property. (Our tree surgeon suggest reducing it by 50% would be advisable and cutting back the rose bush - added 23.03.2023)

T1 - Ash - Crown reduction by 3m in height bringing lateral growth to shape by 1.5m. Removal of all major dead wood, leaving the tree a standing height of 9m. Reducing the crown by approximately 3 meters in height and 1.5 meters laterally will help reduce overall crown weight and wind loading, while maintaining a balanced and proportionate crown.
