T1 -Beech fell to just above ground level. Planting a replacement tree nearby, perhaps at a greater distance from the boundary. 14-16 cm girth Species to be decided, possibly ornamental Beech, Fagus sylvatica f.cuprea or Fagus sylvatica f.purpurea Group 1 ? Cypress (Cypress spp.) Following the removal of the adjacent Beech, the Cypress will become more exposed to prevailing weather conditions. To reduce wind loading and potential stress, the taller specimen should be reduced in height by 25%, maintaining a balanced form and structural integrity (West Horsley Conservation Area)..

Current height is approx 10m and would be 8.5m after pruning, width of all trees as one, approx 15m and would be 12m from marque to car park. Reason for work. Trees are encroaching on to main building and onto dining area marque, also, pigeon foul is a problem due to area being used for dining, debris drops everywhere and , tree nearest car park has a basal decay on tension side of stem.
