Holly Tree - front garden - Trim 1M off top and 1.5M off sides to give a dome shape. Thin out intertwining branches as necessary. Mature Silver Birch - back garden. Approx 20M tall. 4 M from house. Trim 3M off top and 1.5Moff lateral branches to give a crown lift and leave as an attractive shape. Thin out by approx.20-30% to allow more light to the house. Remove up to 5 lower branches up to union as required. Turkey Oak - back garden. Approx 20 metres tall. Close to the neighbours back fence - no. 13. Remove this diseased turkey oak which has suffered from lack of maintenance, squirrel damage and excessive ivy growth. Where there are intertwined branches from the neighbours mature apple tree, trim these back by 2 metres to enable access to the turkey oak and to contain the apple tree. Holm Oak - back garden. Tree currently approx 15 metres tall with sparse growth in the middle section above the union. Reduce height of holm oak to just below the union (approx 55%) so that the tree forms a ball shape and future growth allows tree thicker structure.

Eucalyptus (T1) - Fell and replace with a suitable specimen, such as a fruit tree or magnolia. Eucalyptus is the wrong species of tree to have been planted in this location. Bay (T2) - Fell and replace with a suitable specimen. It completely covers two windows. Something soft-rooted which allows in more light, such as a fig, would be better here.
