The tree belongs to the neighbour at number 40 Devonshire Drive but more than 50% of the canopy overhangs the garden at 42 Devonshire Drive, spanning almost to the opposite boundary wall and blocking light. The tree has damaged the boundary fence. Prune as close to the boundary as possible while retaining shape and form. Four new trees (Crataegus persimilis Prunifolia, Cercis canandensis 'Forest Pansy', 2 x Amelanchier lamarkii) and a new Fagus sylvatica hedge will be planted.

Mountain Ash to the front garden. The leaves and foliage to approx 1/3 of the tree have turned brown and shrivelled rapidly with the foliage given a scorched burned appearance. Please see two photos: the first taken 10.07.26 and the other today 27.07.26. demonstrating the rapid decline of the foliage. Upon initial investigation we believe the trunk to have contracted a bacterial infection. This is one of three. - to remove the dead infected areas. This work should be undertaken in a timely fashion to prevent further spread of the disease.
