30 St Swithuns Road Gloucester GL2 5LH
The oak tree as outlined within the sketch plan requires pruning due to it's excessive size now encroaching upon neighbors houses, garages and surrounding shrubs. As a result there is a risk that the tree could cause damage to neighboring buildings in storm conditions due to it's 'leggy' size. The oak tree is positioned within the boundaries of 30 St Swithuns road, approximately 3ft from the public path adjacent to St. Swithuns Road. Considering it's extensive size/length of branches it is recommended that crown reduction work shall need to be carried out in order to retain a balanced shape. Only the Oak tree as highlighted within the sketch plan requires worked to be carried out. The site is located within a conservation area and no specific TPO number has been identified for the Oak tree. A recommendation for submission and works to be carried out within January in order to protect the tree and avoid any potential risks of diseases when pruning within the warmer summer months.
