What happens while it is decided

The process from here

This application is with Fermanagh and Omagh for determination. The council publicises it, consults neighbours and technical bodies where required, and weighs the responses against local and national planning policy.

The statutory target is eight weeks for most applications and thirteen for major development, though extensions of time are common. Comments carry most weight while the case is undecided, so check the council portal for the deadline if you want to respond.

About conditions applications

How this application type works

This type of application deals with conditions attached to an existing permission, either by supplying the details a condition requires, called discharging it, or by asking to vary or remove one. It does not reopen the principle of the permission itself. Building often cannot lawfully start, or continue past a set stage, until the named conditions are discharged.

The main purpose for the proposed verge/ road alteration is primarily to provide a more attractive approach to the development and existing marina. Increasing the width of the grass verge adjacent to the existing large/ mature hedging will provide a larger forecourt and we are sure this will improve the visual impact as required. Extensive archaeological investigations have taken place in all the previous phases adjacent, firstly for the original road/ entrance in 2005 and all over the approximate 30 acre development. No detrimental archaeological findings were uncovered. Please note that this work is part of the phased development for caravan sites starting in 2005 and with all approvals now in place.
