Slieveglass Extension Wind Farm, consisting of 5 No. wind turbines, each with a tip height of up to 150 Metres, new access tracks, widening of existing tracks, crane hardstanding areas, a control building and substation compound, underground cables, and all associated ancillary infrastructure, within the Fermanagh Omagh District Council administrative area. The development also includes related works within Derry City and Strabane District Council administrative area, including the use, extension, and upgrade of existing access tracks, and upgrade of the existing site entrance within Bullock Park townland to facilitate access to Slieveglass Extension Wind Farm site. The proposal will include delivery haul route improvements and passing bays, and have an operational period of up to 40 years from the date the wind farm is connected to the electricity grid.
