Proposal
Notification of intent to carry out Tree Surgery Works to No. 1 Tree within a Conservation Area. T1 Beech ( Fagus sylvatica) It is proposed to replicate the overall reduction carried out 8 years ago( Ref. 18/00985/TCA), although since the gained and increased size following the previous reduction this time a more generous pruning by removing approx. 1.5-.1.8 maximum of overall radial spread combine with a sympathetic minor selecting thinning where the practice would be viable without causing significance sun exposure and potential scorching of tree bark. The implemented cutting diameter should not exceed 80 mm in diameter. Implemented tree surgery will be considerate in respect of BS3998 The tree is undoubtedly a prominent feature for the public viewer, therefore it merits a sensitive approached .

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
