Proposal
Application to carry out Tree Surgery Works to No. 1 Tree as shown within the Wincanton Rural District Council (MIPO 1) 1973 Tree Preservation Order. T1 - Sycamore 'Pollard' at the point where the main stem divides into multiple stems. On Christmas eve 2025 the central leader failed, and landed the dwelling puncturing the roof and the ceiling of the room within. As per the supporting amenity tree evaluation, originally provided in 2019, the are multiple cavities present at the point where the main stem divides, additionally Dryads saddle is present, and Ganoderma decay fungi is also present within the tree. The point where the main stem divides is extensive decayed.
