Planning application

Staff Accommodation Gipsy Hill Hotel Gipsy Lane Exeter EX1 3RN

Granted Exeter 26/0672/TPO Works to Protected Trees (TPO)

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Blue circle with a x inside it marks the position of the tree. Species unknown.. It is the only tree in the wall. The tree was a miniature one planted in the wall which surrounds the patio. It is now overgrown is much larger than the wall and needs removing. Pruning is not an option as most of the foliage would be removed and only wood would remain. It would be unsightly and would not serve any purpose. I believe it is not necessary to plant another tree in the wall as the wall is not suitable. I wish to plant flowers in its place.
