Rowan Tree to be cut down to approx 2.5m for safety reasons. The tree carried leaves on some branches in 2021 but others were dead. In 2022 there were no leaves or growth on the tree at any point so it is concluded that it is now dead. Some upper branches have become brittle. It is proposed to feel the tree to a stump 2.5m high, retaining the rose and ivy growing over it to provide some natural habitat for wildlife.
