Copper Maple (T19) - Clean out dead wood. 1. Dead wooding: Remove dead, dying, diseased, and damaged branches throughout the crown to improve tree safety and health. 2. Crown thinning: Selectively remove a proportion of secondary and tertiary branch growth (no more than 10%) evenly throughout the crown to reduce density, improve light penetration, and increase air circulation. Especially to rear of tree given the large dead branches 3. Crown reduction: Reduce the crown height by up to 2.0m (20%) and radial spread by up to 1.5m, pruning back to suitable strong growing points.
