Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
Silver Birch (289/T74) removal of dead branches affected by Copper Beech (289/T75) possibly. At the same time would seek guidance if the Copper Beech needs to be pruned due to its size. There are a number of dead branches to the silver Birch (T74) which may affect its future growth as the branches have been dead for some years. The Copper Beech (T75) has grown substantially over the years and so may need pruning

Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) T1 in the back garden. Works proposed: Crown reduction by approximately 20-25%, crown lift to 3m above ground level, and removal of deadwood. Reason for works: The tree has not been pruned for approximately seven years and has developed an overly dense canopy, with several extended limbs encroaching toward the property and neighbouring gardens.
