This application is for the removal of T1 Western Red Cedar tree situated on the Bridle Path at the back of 22b Highridge Close. The tree has dropped some medium sized limbs in the past and is shedding all year round causing garden drainage and housing guttering to be blocked continuously and therefore have to be professionally cleaned / emptied a number of times a year. Multiple trees were removed at the end of last year, one of which was immediately next to the tree in question and was identical in height, health and type. In last years storms a number of branches came off, one of which landed less than a foot from a glass roof light and glass bi-fold doors. I would like to suggest that a new tree is planted which would be in keeping with the bridlepath. The owner of the tree is in full agreement, has given his permission in writing and this application is supported by all neighbouring houses. All work will be compliant with BS3998 standards.
