Street Record Greens Farm Lane Magdalen Laver Ongar

Granted Epping Forest EPF/1998/21 Other

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Proposal on behalf of Eastern Power Networks (EPN) to improve the existing local electricity network at North Weald to facilitate the removal of 500m of overhead lines currently over sailing gardens or residential properties and agricultural land. To ensure a continuity of supply can be maintained, and the wider network improved, it is proposed to increase the remaining overhead line to 3 phase and therefore increasing the number of conductors from 2 to 3 along the alignment shown of the enclosed plan reference EPF/1051120-525/2.37. Alongside improving the quality of the local network, this proposal has been designed to reduce the amount of visible overhead apparatus in accordance with Schedule 9 of the Electricity Act 1989.
