Proposal
Tree Preservation Order EL:309 - T2 and T1 Conifers and Oak Reduction and Clearance from Garage Roof Works: Reduce lateral growth from the Conifers and Oak by two to three metres, targeting only secondary branches. Finished clearance above the garage roof to be a minimum of two metres vertical clearance and one metre horizontal clearance from the structure. Finished lateral spread to be approximately three metres from the boundary wall (visually judged against existing crown width). All cuts made back to appropriate growth points to maintain a balanced, natural outline. Justification Works required to prevent contact with the garage roof, reduce debris accumulation, and maintain adequate clearance for property protection. T3 Oak (Driveway Overhang) ??? Crown Reduction, Crown Lift to 5.5m Works: Reduce lateral branches extending over the driveway by two to three metres, leaving a finished lateral spread of approximately six to seven metres from stem (depending on existing canopy). Crown lift entire canopy to a consistent height of five metres above ground level to provide unobstructed access for high-top vehicles. Retain the overall height of the Oak Justification Necessary to maintain safe vehicular access, improve sight lines, provide statutory clearance over driveways, and prevent damage from heavy goods vehicles. G1 Trees Along Left Side of Driveway ??? Crown Lift and Two to Three Metre Reduction Works: Lift crowns to five point five metres and cut back laterals by two to three metres Crown lift group of trees along the left driveway boundary to five point five metres above ground level. Reduce lateral branches encroaching inward by two to three metres, leaving a finished crown width of 5-6m. Pruning on the driveway side only. Height to remain the same Finished lateral clearance from driveway to be minimum two metres horizontally. Justification Improves vehicle movement, reduces canopy conflict with larger vehicles, and increases natural light onto the driveway a

Tree Preservation Order EL:20/43 T1 - mature Oak tree situated in neighbouring garden close to property. Tree has a height of approximately 22 metres and spread of approximately 15 metres. Proposed works are to remove lowest limb overhanging garden area of 126 Queens Road and reduce branches encroaching on property by approximately 2-2.5 metres. These works will not affect the height of the tree and will reduce the eastern side only, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 22 metres and spread of approximately 12.5 metres. Works are being carried out to give clearance from property, reduce end weight and allow light into garden area and property. T2 - mature Turkey Oak on front boundary. Tree has a height of approximately 23 metres and spread of approximately 16 metres. Proposed works are to remove selected lower limbs and reduce branches overhanging garden area on southern side of crown, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 23 metres and spread of approximately 13.5 metres. These works are being carried out to reduce end weight and allow light into garden area.

Proposed works are to reduce crown by approximately 2-2.5 metres to previous pruning points, remove regrowth on main trunk to lift crown to a height of approximately 3 metres, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 17.5 metres and spread of approximately 8 metres. These works are being carried out to give clearance from pool house, maintain the tree at a reasonable size suitable to location by carrying out cyclical pruning and allowing light into pool area.

34 Clive Road Esher Surrey KT10 8PS
Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
