  T1 - Fagus sylvatica (Common Beech).Specification: Remove T1 and replant with a 6ft Fagus sylvatica 'f. purpurea' (Copper Beech) in the same location as T1.Reasons for works: Owners are concerned with the safety, health and longevity of T1, having had multiple comments from visitors as to whether it is safe to be around. Causes for concern:- Main stem has fire damage on the Eastern side which has caused decay beyond the cambium. Sounding for decay is present from the center of the fire damage to approximately 15cm beyond the intact bark on the southern side and 10m on the northern side at 5ft.   Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
