EL:02/02 - T2 - Cedar - Crown lift over pavement to 3 metres from ground level and 5 metres from ground level over roadside (secondary growth only) - prune back from structures to suitable growth points to allow 2 metres clearance and remove deadwood/hanging broken deadwood from crown >25mm diameter. Maximum live pruning wound of 50mm - Reason for work: crown lifting to be undertaken to comply with section 154 Highways Act minimum clearance / deadwood to be removed to ensure risk of failing limbs striking cars/pedestrians on public footpath and prune back from structures to prevent damage to roof of building. T7 - Cedar - Crown lift over pavement to 3 metres from ground level (lowest limb over footpath to be removed due to no suitable point to prune and allow required clearance) and 5 metres from ground level over roadside - prune back from structures to suitable growth points to allow 2 metres clearance and remove deadwood/hanging broken deadwood from crown >25mm diameter. Maximum live pruning wound of 50mm - Reason for work: crown lifting to be undertaken to comply with section 154 Highways Act minimum clearance / deadwood to be removed to ensure risk of failing limbs striking cars/pedestrians on public footpath. T8 English oak - Crown lift over pavement to 3 metres from ground level and 5 metres from ground level over roadside (secondary growth only) - Lateral tip reduction by up to 2 metres on North West side of crown to suitable growth points to allow 2 metres clearance and remove deadwood from crown >25mm diameter. Reason for work: To carry out a lateral reduction of up to 2 metres on the north-west side of the English Oak using the drop-crotch pruning method. This work is necessary to reduce the substantial overhang of the tree over the adjacent property. The reduction will help mitigate the risk of potential damage to the roof, which is believed to be caused by the overhanging branches. The pruning will be carried out sensitively to maintain a natural, balan

East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - T1 - Lime tree on rear boundary - tree has a height of approximately 20 metres and spread of approximately 12 metres. Proposed works are to reduce crown by approximately 2-2.5 metres to previous pruning points, remove regrowth on main trunk to lift crown to a height of approximately 3 metres, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 17.5 metres and spread of approximately 8 metres. These works are being carried out to give clearance from pool house, maintain the tree at a reasonable size suitable to location by carrying out cyclical pruning and allowing light into pool area.

    34 Clive Road Esher Surrey KT10 8PS

Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
