Tree Preservation Order - T7 - Small leaved lime - Remove deadwood removal 25mm> - Reason for work: Tree located along driveway, removing deadwood eliminates risk of failure onto property or pedestrians. T9 - Ash - Remove epicormic growth from ground level up to crown break and remove deadwood removal 25mm> - Reason for work: Tree located along driveway, removing deadwood eliminates risk of failure onto property or pedestrians with the remove of epicormic growth allowing vehicles access along driveway. T10 - Ash - Reduce the overall height of the Ash tree by approximately 4 metres, reshaping and balancing the remaining lower crown to create a suitable and natural framework - Reason for work: Tree has large cavities in upper crown and believed to have Dryad saddle on upper crown. Reducing the height and lateral limbs of the upper crown to remove stress weight off structural limbs and allow the tree to be monitored in future. T12 - Sycamore - Remove deadwood removal 25mm> - Reason for work: Tree located along driveway, removing deadwood eliminates risk of failure onto property or pedestrians. T13 - Sycamore - Remove deadwood removal 25mm> - Reason for work: Tree located along driveway, removing deadwood eliminates risk of failure onto property or pedestrians. T14 - Remove epicormic growth up to crown break - Remove major deadwood throughout whole crown area, including corrective pruning of previous poor pruning wounds over neighbouring property (Deadwood > 25mm in diameter - Reason for work: Tree located along driveway, removing deadwood eliminates risk of failure onto property or pedestrians with the remove of epicormic growth allowing vehicles access along driveway.

East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - T1 - Lime tree on rear boundary - tree has a height of approximately 20 metres and spread of approximately 12 metres. Proposed works are to reduce crown by approximately 2-2.5 metres to previous pruning points, remove regrowth on main trunk to lift crown to a height of approximately 3 metres, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 17.5 metres and spread of approximately 8 metres. These works are being carried out to give clearance from pool house, maintain the tree at a reasonable size suitable to location by carrying out cyclical pruning and allowing light into pool area.

  • 2026/1784 Granted

    34 Clive Road Esher Surrey KT10 8PS

Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
