Tree Preservation Order EL:157 - T1 - Oak - reduce overall by 2.5m to leave finished height of 16m and finished spread of 14m. Please see the following points below which relate to the attached images: Image 1. NE facing limb - approximately 10m from ground - pruning wound decaying visible from ground, completely hollow Image 2. S facing limb, 10m from ground, 3 m along branch - large cavity from large pruning cut. Further out on the limb the branch dropping down has a large cavity visible from the ground indicating hollow branch. Image 3. Main central stem - previous large snap out at the top looks like has failed through an old cable wire brace. Wound is north facing. Image 4. Branch parallel with above (Image 3). 16 m from ground - S facing large limb has fracture and is leaning in a lower branch. Helical cracks through the middle of the branch. Image 5. NW facing in lowest limb snapped hanging branch 12m from ground. Facing towards alleyway Image 6. W facing two lowest limbs at 8 and 9 metres from ground have top side decay. Image 7. SE facing lowest limb has large top side cavity at the union, 4-5m along branch - old pruning decay and the branch has hollowed before the wound. Image 8. W facing 11m from ground cavity from what looks like an old helical crack.

Tree Preservation Order EL:20/08 - T38 - Oak Request to fell to ground level due to the tree's significantly declining condition and reduced long-term viability. The tree has been affected by Oak Processionary Moth (OPM), which has resulted in extensive crown dieback and a substantial reduction in vitality. In addition, the tree has suffered historic ring-barking damage caused during the construction of the adjacent residential development. This damage has disrupted the tree's vascular system and has likely contributed to its ongoing decline and limited ability to recover. The combined effects of OPM infestation and the historic stem damage have resulted in a severely compromised tree with extensive deadwood and dieback throughout the crown. The tree is located adjacent to neighbouring properties and areas of public access, and its deteriorating condition increases the risk of branch failure. Given the extent of the decline, poor physiological condition, and limited prospects for recovery, remedial pruning would not provide a sustainable long-term solution. Permission is therefore sought to fell the tree to ground level on the grounds of safety, declining health, and sound arboricultural management. A new tree wouild be planted to replacement

East Molesey Kent Town Conservation Area - T1 - Lime tree on rear boundary - tree has a height of approximately 20 metres and spread of approximately 12 metres. Proposed works are to reduce crown by approximately 2-2.5 metres to previous pruning points, remove regrowth on main trunk to lift crown to a height of approximately 3 metres, leaving the tree with a height of approximately 17.5 metres and spread of approximately 8 metres. These works are being carried out to give clearance from pool house, maintain the tree at a reasonable size suitable to location by carrying out cyclical pruning and allowing light into pool area.

34 Clive Road Esher Surrey KT10 8PS
Esher Conservation Area - T1 Leyland Cypress (Rear Garden) Fell to ground level. Reason for Works: The tree is situated in very close proximity to the adjacent outbuilding. As the tree has matured, the stem has increased to a diameter at breast height (DBH) of approximately 40 cm and is now in direct contact with the structure, causing abrasion and damage to the building. Due to the ongoing increase in stem diameter, further structural damage is considered likely if the tree is retained. The proposed removal is therefore necessary to prevent additional damage while maintaining the safety and integrity of the adjacent structure. T2 Lawson Cypress (Rear Garden) Remove one large declining lateral limb and carry out a crown clean to remove all deadwood throughout the canopy. Reason for Works: A substantial lateral limb is in decline, exhibiting extensive dieback and a significant reduction in live foliage. The removal of this limb is proposed to reduce the risk of branch failure and improve the tree's overall condition. In addition, deadwood will be removed throughout the crown to eliminate potential hazards, improve canopy health, and form part of routine arboricultural management.
