Proposal
3no. Oak (T1-T3 as specified in previous application (T/20/89093) and 1no. Oak (the fourth oak tree but designated oak in an earlier plan) - reduce by 2m to improve light available in a garden. The garden is not overlooked by any public areas as previously stated following a review by the local tree inspectors. The trees are becoming overpowering in the garden and reduction will improve the gardens aspect and have little impact on the health of the trees. The recommended reduction will maintain the trees to their surroundings. We have consulted Hands in Nature about this work.

Main stem has an old major pruning/wound point with significant dysfunction and deterioration around the union. Remaining upright stem originates above this compromised area, creating potential structural weak point. The pronounced change in stem direction also places additional mechanical loading and leverage on weakened section, particularly during high winds.
