1no. Sycamore (T1) - Reduce to height of 10m from ground level, retain all lower growth. Tree is heavily weighted to the north east, root heave and cracks on surface. Sparse crown with Epical dieback. 1no. Ash (T2) - Reduce to approx. 6m from ground level. Perenniporia Fraxinea on northern buttress. 1no. Scott's Pine (T3) - Sectional fell to just above ground level. Decay on buttress and main stem, white rot on northern side, multiple insect bore holes throughout stem. Southern canopy dead.

    1no. Weeping Willow - Remove the crown entirely (see picture 4) and cut back the lower branches to a max length of approx 3m, similar to picture 5. Tree has already lost two large branches (see photos 1 & 2) and is showing further signs of weakness. Tree was subject of a previous application NC/23/94510; outcome was “Raise No Objection.” One of the two trees in that application suffered a major loss of a limb last summer leading to emergency pollarding. (See picture 5). With the other tree having similar characteristics, including a very large branch reaching over the drive (see picture 3), we believe it would be appropriate to reduce the second tree in a similar way to the first one.

Remaining upright stem originates above this compromised area, creating potential structural weak point. The pronounced change in stem direction also places additional mechanical loading and leverage on weakened section, particularly during high winds.
