Proposal
DRIFFIELD SOUTH CONSERVATION AREA - Crown reduce 1 no. Purple Beech tree by up to 2.5 metres (15%) and crown thin by 15% as the tree has a heavy lean toward the easterly aspect and the lowest branches are now below the height of the 6ft fence, without leaf cover, indicating there maybe some change in the position of the tree due to wet conditions over the winter period, with neighbouring gardens being the target area should the tree fail

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
