Granted East Riding of Yorkshire 20/04253/TPO Works to Protected Trees

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

TPO - SPELLOWGATE, DRIFFIELD - 1970 (REF 405) A2 - Crown reduce 1 no. Beech tree (T1) by removing the main scaffold limb and crown at 5 metres to the south, crown lift to 8 metres over the lawn to balance and crown thin by 10% due to the tree having a weak included main scaffold union with reactionary growth 'ears' at either side, the southern part of the crown being very heavily weighted over the boundary and further splitting of the union; Crown lift 1 no. Beech tree (T2) to 8 metres to the south and crown reduce to the south by 4 metres to reduce overhang due to the tree having an asymmetric crown as a result of growing in the shadow of the adjacent trees and due to the majority of the crown overhanging the boundary to the south
