The replacement of Hardmead Radial Sector Gate consists on the following activities: 1. Removal of the existing radial sector gate. 2. Temporary works will include dewatering works, to control the groundwater levels during activity number. 3. Replace the concrete-slab bed of the channel. 4. Build two new piers. 5. Place two tilting gates replacing the existing radial sector gate. 6. Place a technical fish pass in the channel. 7. Gantry system will be removed during construction and will be reinstated once construction works in the channel have been completed.
