Proposal
Conversion of garage, which is curtilage listed by virtue of its association with the Grade II listed dwelling, to ancillary accommodation to the main house. Replace existing windows with timber-framed, double-glazed windows, designed to respect the character and appearance of the building. Insert three additional windows. Replace main door with a timber, half-glazed door of an appropriate traditional design. Internally, install studding to allow for the installation of insulation, followed by plaster boarding and finishing. The floor and roof will be insulated and plaster boarded, while all existing structural beams will be retained and left exposed. Install underfloor heating , together with engineered wood flooring.
