Project Centre Poltimore House Poltimore Exeter EX4 0AU

Granted East Devon 25/2227/TRE Felling/Lopping (TPO)

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

Y1, English Yew : reduce by 5m and prune laterals to shape canopy. Y2, English Yew : reduce to 8m and prune laterals to shape canopy. T1 + T2, Turkey Oak : Self-set. Suppressed by adjacent Fraxinus excelsior; significant squirrel damage throughout canopy and causing deformation; broken ends of storm-damaged branches at canopy break. It us unlikely that these two trees were present at the time of the 1991 TPO service. Fell.
