What a grant of permission means
The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About full applications applications
How this application type works
A full application seeks permission for a complete, detailed proposal in one go: siting, design, access and landscaping are all fixed at this stage. It is the standard route for new buildings, conversions and changes of use. The statutory target is eight weeks for smaller schemes and thirteen weeks for major development, though complex cases often take longer by agreement.

Discharge of Condition for 24/1464/FUL: Condition 3 (SWD) Surface water disposal to a watercourse is not possible as there is no access to a watercourse. Surface water disposal to a surface water body is not possible as there is no access to any such body. The roofs of the existing kitchen and outbuildings currently drain to the combined drainage/sewer. The area currently being drained from the existing roofs is approximately 44.5 square metres The area to be drained from the new roof is approximately 25.5 square metres The discharge is therefore less than current area by 19 square metres or 43%. The proposed discharge therefore reduces the current demand on the sewer and provides surplus capacity of 43% to allow for future climate change. The newly exposed ground where outbuildings are demolished will be finished with a permeable paving.
