Granted East Ayrshire 22/0050/NMV Non Material Variations

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

NMV of planning permission 20/0001/S36/VAR, to allow the micrositing of the access tracks outside of the limits set out in Condition 5 Micro-siting. The consented development allows for 12.07km of track. The total distance of tracks proposed outside the micrositing limit is 1,538m, of which 263m are floated and the remaining 1,275m are semi-permanent aggregate track. The locations of this track are: 191m at the site entrance, 239m of track between turbines 6 and 4, 160m of track between turbines 6 and 7, and 948m track between turbines 4 and 16. The furthest distance the track lies from the micrositing allowance is 180m. There would be no additional ecological or hydrological impacts, and a reduction in peat extraction of 175m3 as the NMV layout incorporates an overall track reduction of 118m.
