Planning application
53A Westcourt Lane Shepherdswell Dover CT15 7PU
Works: Trees
Refused. Only the applicant can appeal, within the statutory time limit, and a revised scheme can be submitted instead.
Proposal
Pollard to a finished height of 9 metres of one Sweet Chestnut (wrongly identified as a Horse Chestnut in the application documents) the subject of Tree Preservation No 17 of 2009. Due to recent heavy winds and the weight (bearing chestnuts) two lower limbs have snapped out, leaving the tree out of balance with a quarter of the canopy missing and causing concern. Recommend: Pollard the tree to a finishing height of 9 metres approximately.
