Planning application
Walnut Tree Field, land at rear of Back Lane Sturminster Marshall
Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 Walnut Tree (Juglans regia) (/// perfumed.curries.nicer) - Carry out selective upper crown reduction by approximately 4 metres using pole thinning and drop crotching techniques. - Selectively reduce lateral spread on southwestern aspect by 2 metres. Furthermore, a select volume of arisings should be retained beneath the canopy within the rooting area. Retaining larger diameter cut material will provide continuity of deadwood habitat.
