Split decision Dorset P/TRT/2023/00375 Tree Works- TPO

Works: Trees

Part of this application was approved and part refused. The decision notice on the council portal sets out which is which.

Proposal

T1 - Mature Beech - Crown raise by 4-5m above garage roof and house and raise remaining crown to a height of 8m. Remove all deadwood over 50mm in diameter and thin crown by 10%. The trees are overshadowing the roof of the garage and roof and require lifting. Dead wooding and crown thinning for health of trees. T2 - Yew x5 - Reduce to a height of 1.5m to help create better screening and a more efficient hedge. Three more Yew trees will be planted to infill gaps. T3 - Ash - Reduce by 4m away from the roof of the house to prevent it from damaging the roof.
