Beech - reduce to 2m tall monolith due to colonisation by Meripilus fungus resulting in unacceptable level of risk of whole tree failure onto property or personal harm. Replant with oak or sweet chestnut within 5m of stump. Replacement will be planted within 12 months should the replacement tree die.
