An amended Drainage Plan (ref: Amended Drainage Design - Rev B updated) will be submitted to re-discharge Condition 10 - it will show the gravel strip that was installed during the construction phase to give additional protection to the neighbouring properties from surface water run off. We had reports from a neighbour that they had noticed that as a result their garden was dryer than usual in wet conditions. As a result we decided to leave it at post construction as a conservative approach. The trench is simply to add additional volume for any ground water to the rear of the flag on edge.
