Lower overall height (by a maximum of 1.5 to 2m) Reduce side branches from encroachment into adjoining highway and on to neighbouring property. Minor crown lifting to provide 2-2.5m of ground clearance over footway. (Approximate finished crown shape and size shown on accompanying images) Reason: to reduce excessive shading, and limit leaf drop, improve highway safety and manage crown size of the tree to a scale that is suitable to its context
