Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Hedgerow Removal Notice to remove 10 small sections of Cornish Hedge at Nanspean Farm. The 10 sections add up to total 30 meters of Cornish hedge, proposed for removal, to create a new Bridleway route. The new openings are required as the new Bridleway route will utilise existing field gateways, and mixing agricultural use and public access is incompatible from a public safety perspective. The other 5 hedgerow sections are proposed for removal in order for the National Trust to create grazing compartments that allow for a naturalistic conservation grazing regime
