As detailed and recommended in the attached Tree Survey: Fell Ash trees 8963,8965,8968 Fell Sycamores 8913,8930 and 1 stem on tree 8929 Sycamore Remedial pruning of historic stubs on tree 8911 Sycamore Remove all Branches/Limbs on Ash tree 8914 and leave as a habitat pole The Management Company has also received several requests from residents to undertake crown reduction works of up to 4m on the Sycamore Trees numbers 8928, 8929, 8930, 51 and 52. Tree numbers 8929 and 8930 are earmarked for proposed works in the survey. These proposed works are not specifically identified or recommended within the attached survey. However, the Management Company would respectfully request that the Planning Authority considers these additional works as part of the current application and seeks approval for them at the same time. This would enable the Management Company to address residents' concerns and undertake all approved arboricultural works in a coordinated and efficient manner.

Involves a general re-shaping involving a crown reduction and thinning to a specification within BS3998 -2010 and as agreed by the tree surgeon and planning officer.. A reduction of 2 .5 m was mentioned but I would welcome intervention and advice so that the tree is shaped symmetrically and retains the character of its crown. Also to check and remove any areas of decay that would benefit surrounding properties in the event of high wind. In addition, the removal of a small (12cm diameter), low, partially decayed over hanging branch toward No.6 Rhodfa Sant Elian, which was damaged by high winds.
