The works comprise: - Conservation-led repair works and removal of high-level vegetation - Localised re-pointing in lime mortar, based on recent trials and evidence - New roof structure, combining a mix of traditional and contemporary structural elements, including integration of insulation - Reinstatement of roof finishes. Gutters are increased in capacity to reflect current rainfall and storm events. - New rainwater goods. These will involve a combination of lead chutes/overflows (through parapets), cast iron hoppers and downpipes - Conservation of the remaining floors and reinstatement of floors where missing - Recording and retention of remaining plasterwork and joinery elements, and consequently holding/conservation works where required - New below ground drainage connections (as indicated on drainage plan) - Holding/conservation works to the existing window frames and temporary glazing to windows, with some localised reinstatement - No foul drainage is proposed as part of these works)
