Planning application
41 West Bowling Green Street Edinburgh EH6 5NX
Withdrawn before a decision, so it carries no planning weight. A revised scheme can be submitted at any time.
Proposal
We are an established limited company offering classes (for children & adults from the local community and beyond) in Parkour skills. The site at 41 WBGS suits our requirements in terms of size and location. We propose minimal work to kit it out to make the facilities we need. We believe the class use we require is 11 (gymnasium type of building).

The process from here
The applicant withdrew this application before the council decided it, so it carries no planning weight and no fee refund is automatic. Withdrawal often follows officer feedback that a refusal was likely.
The applicant is free to submit a revised application at any time, and many withdrawn schemes return in amended form, so the site is worth watching if the proposal affected you.
About lawful development applications
How this application type works
A lawful development certificate is a legal determination, not a planning judgement. It asks the council to confirm either that existing use or works are lawful, often through the passage of time, or that a proposal would not need planning permission at all. The applicant must prove the facts; the merits of the scheme are not considered.

5 Harrison Road Edinburgh EH11 1EG
The land behind 5 Harrison Road has been in use as my garden since 1984 when I developed it (i.e. from when I purchased the house). It is a fenced-in plot of land similar to all other garden plots in the street. It contains mature plants, trees and lawn. There are no structures (except the fencing) on the land. I understand that the garden appears on the council mapping since that time.
