Planning application
Tavenor Towers 7A Lower Park Road Chester CH4 7BB
Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
Prune branches from trees growing over the boundary which are planted within the neighbours garden (Fern Rock 5 Lower Park Road). Some of the trees overhang the house and debris blocks the gutters. The trees include laurel, cedar, birch, holly, acer and some kind of oak (not English type). Only cut branches which overhang into the garden. Partial crown reduction will be between 5 and 20%, depending on how near to the boundary the particular tree is planted

What happens while it is decided
The process from here
This application is with Cheshire West and Chester for determination. The council publicises it, consults neighbours and technical bodies where required, and weighs the responses against local and national planning policy.
The statutory target is eight weeks for most applications and thirteen for major development, though extensions of time are common. Comments carry most weight while the case is undecided, so check the council portal for the deadline if you want to respond.
About this record
Reading the register
This page mirrors an entry on the statutory planning register that Cheshire West and Chester is required to keep. The published feed for this record does not state which type of application it is, which is common for older entries and for some council systems; the register entry on the council portal will say, alongside the case officer and any consultation dates.
Every planning application follows the same broad path: submission, validation, publicity, then a decision by officers or committee. Our guide to planning application types explains the common types and what each can approve.
