Lime Tree, Fir Tree Both trees are approximately 4 metres away from the property and are causing significant stress to myself as the homeowner but also to the owners of the two neighbouring properties in Wyndham Crescent and Chase Drive. The neighbours are sighting that the trees are blocking out light, particularly as one of the properties is a bungalow. The trees are taller than the property of 4 Chase Drive and shed leaves which are also causing damage to gutters/drains which are requiring to be unblocked regulalry. The neighbours and myself are also very concerned as to the size of the trees and close proximity to the houses. With recent storms, we are concerned that if either of the trees were to be come damaged they could cause significant damage to the properties or even persons residing at these properties. My application is to fell both trees for safety reason but I would not remove the roots as I believe that this may cause ground heave. I would prefer not to replant any further trees as again these would be in close proximity to the house but if this is a condition to my application then I will agree to this and would plant 2 smaller trees.
