Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 - 1 Mature pine tree - lateral reduction of the two large lower limbs by 3-4 metres or the nearest pruning point, lateral reduction of the remaining limbs by 1-2 metres accordingly as to their size and the amount of end weight on each limb or to the nearest pruning point, removal of all deadwood greater than 25mm. Reason: To carry out the works to reduce wind stress on the buttress root system and reduce end loading on various limbs to reduce the tension on the various codominant unions in the truck system. T2 - Lawson cypress - height reduction of 3 metres Reason: to stop the conifers smothering the lower canopy on the mature pine tree.
