Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
G5 - Hornbeam - An overall crown lift of 2.5m is sufficient to abate the nuisance and associated risk posed by low hanging branches overhanging the footpath and parking bays. A 5.5m crown lift is required over the road. Some damaged limbs are also visible within canopies (likely resulting from vehicle strikes) and should be removed at the same visit. T1301 - Wild Cherry - Crown lift to 2.5m and reduce overall canopy by 2-3m. Subject to TPO 03/2007

A crab apple tree situated within the small front garden. The tree has become overgrown and disproportionately large for the confined garden area, with a dense crown extending close to the house and over the front garden. Its size and position make the garden difficult to maintain and reduce light to the front elevation and adjoining windows. The proposal is to remove the tree and stump and restore the front garden

Sycamore - crown reduce by 2-2.5m south removing up to 3m and crown thin by 20%, the pruning will allow additional light to reach the garden and clear the residence. The adjacent tree east was pruned by us around 2 years ago, the aerial image shows the clearance we achieved. Epicormic growth 0-8m will also be removed. To re-shape the retained crown a 1m reduction (removing up to 2m) above the neighbouring garden, west will be completed - subject to TPO 023/2005
