Shenington with Alkerton Parish Council instructed Lighthorne Tree Care Ltd to undertake climbing inspections of trees T7 and T8 following recommendations made within the Arboricultural Condition Survey prepared by LandArb Solutions dated 19/12/2025. Subsequent aerial inspection confirmed significant structural defects within both trees. The tree report and findings from the aerial inspection will be attached to this application. Please note. The map on the tree report doesn't correctly show the location of the trees. Please see location marked in the attached document T1 sycamore- Reduce lateral branches away from pub removing up to 1m T7 Horse Chestnut - Crown raise to provide approximately 2 metres clearance to help with grounds maintenance. Selective crown thinning not exceeding 20%. Reduce end-weight on the south-eastern lower lateral limb by up to approximately 3 metres from branch extremities back to suitable growth points.
