Planning application
The Pavilions Sandford Road Cheltenham Gloucestershire
Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
All lime trees. T1804 - Reduce canopy all round by 2-3m. Tree is in a declining condition due to likely Phytophthora pathogen. Deadwood and crown dieback is evident. T1806 - Pollard tree at between 5-6m from ground level. The tree contains significant deadwood, and is in decline beyond this point. T808 - Remove moribund top 2m of leading stem. Remove deadwood from trees 1805, 1807 1810. All works to reduce risk of large branch failures and falling deadwood which pose a threat to site residents and off site users. Refer to tree condition report for full details. T1812 - Lift canopy above road signs and traffic lights in Bath Road to give 1.5m clearance. Removal of secondary branches only.
