Proposal
Oak (T1) - Crown reduce overall canopy by 30% (minimum) to achieve a crown volume reduction in line with BRE IP7/06; works to equate to a 3m - 4m linear reduction throughout the overall canopy. Reduce single lowest (primary) limb, extending towards No.26 Edendale Road, by the full 4m and crown lift overall canopy to 4.5m above ground level (secondary branches only, no major pruning wounds to main stem). Tree to be maintain at reduced dimensions by re-pruning back to points of previous reduction on a strict 3 year (max) cycle. The tree works are proposed to stop the influence of the tree(s) on the soil below building foundation level and provide long term stability. Should the tree/s remain the total cost of repairs will be the Superstructural repairs + Alternative method of repairs = £18,700.80 It is the expert opinion of both the case engineer and arboriculturalist that on the balance of probabilities the supporting information demonstrates the influence of the tree(s). Note: Further monitoring results may be submitted if these become available during the course of this application.
